Botox
Botox has been widely used in the aesthetic and beauty industry since receiving FDA approval in 2002. Since the injections are quick and painless, Botox is a favorite among patients for its dramatic and immediate results. Botox injections reduce muscle contractions by blocking nerve signals to muscles. When the injected muscles can’t contract normally, the skin relaxes and softens, improving the wrinkle. Alma Hybrid

The combination of microneedling and RF energy can help improve skin texture, reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, and enhance overall skin tone and elasticity. Alma Hybrid effectively treats many skin issues, including wrinkles and fine lines, acne and other scars, uneven skin tone, and hyperpigmentation. Microneedling
Microneedling is an innovative skin rejuvenation treatment that improves the skin’s appearance using a device with tiny needles that create safe micro-injuries to the skin. The purpose of microneedling is to stimulate the body’s natural healing response, which can produce new collagen and elastin fibers.
At Coastal Aesthetics, we use SkinPen, the only device cleared by the FDA as a Class II microneedling device. During the procedure, the device is gently pressed into the skin, creating small punctures on the skin’s surface. These tiny punctures trigger the skin’s natural healing response.
As the skin heals, it produces new collagen and elastin fibers, which can help to improve the skin’s appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, scars, age spots, and hyperpigmentation.
Opus Plasma-RF
Opus Plasma-RF is a non-invasive cosmetic treatment that uses plasma energy to improve skin texture, reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, and enhance overall skin tone and elasticity. This cutting-edge technology uses metal pins that are supercharged with high voltage. When the pins are in close contact with the skin, they react to atmospheric pressure in the air, creating plasma and making micro-thermal zones of fractional injuries to the skin.
The natural healing process jumpstarts collagen production through a wound-healing response, similar to how microneedling works. However, this technology uses RF (radio frequency) and microplasma instead of needles.
