TruSculpt Flex

Innovative muscle-stimulating device

For many years, getting the body of your dreams could only be achieved with surgery. Thanks to proven technology from Cutera, Coastal Aesthetics is pleased to offer TruSculpt Flex, a noninvasive body sculpting treatment that will help your body look more toned, fit and youthful.

What is TruSculpt Flex?

TruSculpt flex is an innovative muscle-stimulating device consisting of several small handpieces that utilize advanced technology for body contouring. By targeting specific muscle groups, like the abdominals and glutes, this technique offers personalized treatment based on your fitness level, shape, and goals.

What is body contouring?

Body contouring is a noninvasive and painless way to improve muscle tone, definition, and the look of aging and sagging skin for a more youthful appearance. In addition, these nonsurgical contouring treatments help slim down “stubborn” areas resistant to exercise and weight loss, giving you the sleek shape you desire. Over the years, body contouring has become one of the most sought-after procedures due to its ease and results with zero downtime.

Toned, fit and youthful body

How does TruSculpt Flex body contouring work?

TruSculpt Flex stimulates muscle contractions using painless multi-directional electrical stimulation (MDS). The energy signals result in full muscle contractions that are more vigorous than you can achieve with physical exercise. Ultimately, this increases muscle mass for a leaner, more toned, youthful appearance.

What sets TruSculpt Flex apart from similar body contouring methods is that it provides better coverage and treats up to 8 areas simultaneously. Most other electromagnetic stimulation devices can only treat a maximum of 2 regions.

The procedure is done in three optimal modes to achieve the ideal body contouring results.

  • The first mode is a warmup. The device gently stretches your muscles with a twisting motion, helping build muscle tolerance to contractions.
  • The second mode involves toning. In this phase, truSculpt flex causes forced muscle contractions to the point of muscle fatigue.
  • The final mode is intense muscle sculpting with deep, fast contractions that increase your basal metabolic rate (BMI), which assists in accelerated muscle growth.

Another benefit of TruSculpt Flex for body contouring is although your muscle groups will be fatigued during the treatment session, there is no damage. The treatment prevents lactic acid buildup, so there’s no post-treatment pain or discomfort.

Am I a good candidate for TruSculpt Flex?

If you want to tone up problem areas without resorting to plastic surgery, TruSculpt Flex can help you achieve your goals on multiple body parts, like the stomach and buttocks. However, it’s essential to know that TruSculpt Flex is strictly a body contouring treatment and not a weight loss procedure. Your body composition can improve, which helps to drop weight, but the focus is on your body measurements, not pounds. If the scale isn’t your focal point, TruSculpt Flex is a terrific treatment option for you.

While TruSculpt Flex can improve the tone and appearance of many muscle groups in your body, it is not recommended if you have the following:

  • Wounds
  • Pregnancy
  • Abdominal or inguinal hernia
  • Cardiac implants
  • Epilepsy
  • Cancerous lesions
  • Critical ischemia of lower limbs
  • Acute trauma or fracture
  • Blood flow deficiencies

TruSculpt Flex FAQs

What are the benefits of TruSculpt Flex?

The main benefits of TruSculpt Flex include more youthful, firm skin and body contouring due to the increased muscle tone and mass. In addition, tighter skin lends itself to an overall firmer, more fit appearance, especially in stubborn areas that are hard to target with an exercise regimen alone.

What are the target areas for TruSculpt Flex?

Popular target areas for TruSculpt Flex include the abdomen, obliques, buttocks, and legs. You can treat and target other specific areas like under your chin, upper arms, and your inner and outer thighs.

What is recovery like? Any side effects?

There’s no recovery or downtime with TruSculpt Flex. After a session, your body will feel similar to how it feels after an intense physical workout, minus the physical exertion. It’s essential to drink plenty of water and consume ample protein. Also, get sufficient rest to give your muscles time to heal.

Suppose you already have an existing fitness regime. In that case, you are advised not to do an intense workout 24 hours before your truSculpt flex session and to avoid training the treated muscle group 48 hours after to prevent overstraining.

How many treatments should I get?

Building muscle is not a quick process; it generally takes most patients six sessions spaced 1-2 weeks apart to achieve desired results. Factors like age, sex, diet, and genetics can all affect how quickly you experience muscle growth. You can also maintain your results through TruSculpt Flex maintenance sessions or your exercise regime.
